Geothermal systems are a smart and sustainable investment that not only reduces your carbon footprint but can also lead to significant tax credit benefits.
As a geothermal contractor, Chesapeake Geosystems can help you take advantage of these benefits. The Federal government offers a tax credit of 26% of the total cost of a geothermal system installed through 2023.
Additionally, some states and local jurisdictions offer their own incentives to homeowners and businesses that install geothermal systems. Our team can guide you through the process of accessing these tax credits and incentives, helping you save money while doing your part for the environment. Contact us today to learn more about the tax credit benefits of geothermal systems.
Some of our past projects at Chesapeake Geosystems include the installation of geothermal systems for residential and commercial properties, as well as large-scale geothermal projects for educational institutions and government buildings. We are proud to have successfully completed these projects and look forward to taking on new challenges in the future.
Geothermal Technology utilizes the natural temperature of the ground to help you maintain a consistent temperature without high energy bills or high carbon footprints.
The EPA has acknowledged that geothermal systems are the most energy efficient, environmentally clean, & cost-effective space conditioning systems available.
Geothermal works because the ground beneath our feet is warmer then the outside air in the winter and cooler in the summer. Inserting a series of small pipes, called loops, into the ground allows heat to be transferred to and from your property. In this process heat is not created, it is transported therefore no fuel is burned. Ground temperature is a constant 55 degrees, regardless of the temperature outside. The East Coast and specifically Maryland are great areas to install a geothermal system.
